Suwałki adventure
Summer ‘23
First bikepacking adventure, like a first lover - you will remember it for the rest of your life.
We embarked from Kraków on a train and started our cycling journey in a small town in the far northeast part of Poland - Suwałki. Three friends, full of hope and adventurous spirit, on gravel bikes, Igor, Jacek, and I. We met only benevolent people, this region is not the richest but the kind reception and beautiful nature shocked us with every stroke of our pedals.
We cycled 8 days through 2x Voivodeships: Podlaskie, and Warmian-Masurian. In total, we managed to ride: 499,97 km - 28 hours and 50 minutes - gained 2987 m of elevation - had 6 tons of fun and a lot of beers.
We did not see a single mosquito.. weird stuff.
Adventure time!
